Toque Chicago- Live Sept. 24th at Cafe Laguardia!
by admin on Sep.18, 2009, under Uncategorized
Toque Chicago is an amazing cuban drumming ensemble comprised of some of Chicago’s top percussionists.
You can expect folkloric Cuban drumming (bata and congas) and singing, as well as a variety of percussive related madness. The band will feature Jean Leroy, Janet Cramer, Doug Brush, Bob Garrett, Alejo Poveda, Joe Rendon, Danny Howard, and Jim Hines, as well as myself, busting out some sick cowbell, claves and backup vocals.
Toque Chicago is playing live at Cafe Laguardia on Thursday, Sept. 24th at 8 PM, NO COVER
